Build Hope, One Meal at a Time
The Men's Firstep Kitchen Project

Cooking Up Change: Help Us Build a New Kitchen at Men’s Firstep!
Our Men's Firstep Program is a beacon of hope, offering a path to recovery through support, structure, and now—nutritional healing. The heart of this transformation lies in our ambitious vision to construct a new kitchen and dining facility, a project born out of necessity and fueled by compassion.
Since 1987, our "Chow Hall" has served as the culinary center for the Men’s Firstep campus. Decades of wear and limited updates have taken their toll, leaving us with a space that can no longer support our mission or the needs of the program.
The need for a new, commercial-grade kitchen is clear. It will be more than just a place to eat; it will serve as a family-style dining room, a community gathering space, and a classroom where healing and learning go hand in hand. Our vision includes a beautiful, functional space that fosters family visitations, celebrates holidays, and offers an outdoor seating area for reflection and connection.
This kitchen is more than a building—it's a cornerstone of recovery, education, and empowerment. Your support can help make this vision a reality, offering our residents not just a meal, but a first step toward a new beginning. Join us in nourishing new beginnings and cooking up hope for the men at Firstep. Together, we can transform lives, one meal at a time.
